New CPD seminars for 2011: learn the best about roofing and roofing techniques

Leading GRP roofing products manufacturer, Hambleside Danelaw Ltd, is touring the country again in 2011 with a suite of CPD seminars designed to enhance knowledge of roofing and roofing techniques which maximise environmental performance and significantly reduce a building’s energy costs.

The company is participating in both the CPD RoadSeminar Tour and the RIBA CPD events. Architects, specifiers and building professionals will be able to update their knowledge on topics such as:

1. Environmental Performance of GRP
2. GRP Roofing Systems and How They Differ
3. Flat Roofing - Designing to Avoid Common Problems
4. Flashings/Troughs: Lead v Plastic v Concrete v GRP
5. Roof Ventilation - Practical Solutions

The contents of the hour-long seminars are RIBA approved and the seminars will be presented by highly experienced members of Hambleside’s own management team who are behind the company’s long track record of sustainability award-winning success.

In addition, new seminars are to be introduced in spring 2011; ‘Green Roof Applications’ and ‘Rooflights in the 21st Century’. The second will explain how new ideas and functions for rooflights are being introduced to the industry, bringing with them major cost-savings and environmental benefits.
