New entrance mat is good-looking and affordable

New from Construction Specialties (UK) Ltd is C/S Pedimat^® Ultra, a slim, 11mm deep, high-quality entrance mat that delivers good looks and excellent performance at a very affordable price. Its reduced depth means that it lies flush with the floor so facilitating wheelchair access and reducing the risk of trip-related accidents.

In terms of appearance, C/S Pedimat Ultra has been designed so that the aluminium rails holding the inserts are very discreet, to provide maximum surface area for moisture absorption and dirt retention, making it the ideal choice for commercial buildings such as banks, shops and hotels.

Suitable for moderately trafficked (medium to high use) areas, C/S Pedimat Ultra has a 275kgs/wheel rolling load capability and can be specified with carpet, vinyl, abrasive or brush tread inserts (depending upon use and location). There is a range of standard colours for external and internal use and special designs, including logos and trademarks, can also be accommodated.

Pedimat Ultra can be fitted into an existing matwell or surface-mounted in a ramped frame, making it easily suitable for retro-fitting.

The mat can be rolled up for cleaning of the mat-well and a closed spline option, with deep channels between rails, enables easy cleaning of the mat to take place in situ.
