New swimming pool area

14 Feb 2008

Architect: Riva Architects
Type of works: supply and installation of Echosorba II panels.

Excessive reverberation can often be a problem in areas where there is a lot of hard surfaces. Riva Architects recognised that reverberation was going to be a problem in their design for a new swimming pool area. These are particularly bad areas because they are built from hard surfaces which are designed to be hard wearing and resistant to moisture.

Riva Architects contacted Soundsorba for advice on this problem. Soundsorba looked at the proposals and confirmed suitable measures which would achieve the acoustic standards and also be suitable for the environment.

The product which was recommended was the Echosorba II. This product was chosen due to its moisture resistance and aesthetic qualities. The panels were positioned and installed to suit the design concept within the room.
