Norbord Supports Fantastic Lakehouse Community Project

Norbord is supporting the community and the arts by donating panel products to the Lakehouse development in London.

The materials, which were used to create the set of the theatrical show, ‘You Me Bum Bum Train’, included Norbord’s 1 8mm Caberwood Light MDF and 22mm chipboard. The Lakehouse development provides homeless people with training for specific trades and the development of vital skills.

Mick Feleppa of Jewson, who supplied the product, says, ‘Lakehouse is a fantastic community project and a great example of the supply chain working together to get underprivileged people back to work’.

Norbord’s Light MDF is considerably lighter than Standard MDF. I t has all the versatile qualities of its heavier stablemates and will perform as well in nearly all applications. Board for board, MDF Light consumes less raw material than heavier MDF products and, is consequently, less expensive.
