Nu-Heat’s New Cylinder for Hitachi Air Source Heat Pump

Nu-Heat's new range of unvented cylinders, the EnergyMaster HP has been designed and developed specifically to work in conjunction with the Hitachi YUTAKI air source heat pump.

The standard EnergyMaster HP contains 300 litres of domestic water which is heated by the heat pump via the impressive 3m² coil. The EnergyMaster HP Solar comes in the slightly larger 360 litre capacity to accommodate the high efficiency solar coil. 100 litres is dedicated solar volume.

Both cylinders are manufactured in the UK. They are stainless steel throughout, encased in plastisol and insulated with polyurethane foam. This means that the empty cylinders are lightweight and easy to handle around the site. They cover a small footprint and even the solar cylinder fits easily within standard ceiling height.

As is usual with Nu-Heat, the cylinders come with all the fittings and controls necessary to complete the installation. This includes the factory fitted temperature and pressure relief valve, expansion vessel and safety inlet group. There is an additional immersion backup in order to perform the weekly hygiene purge, and to improve reheat times during extremely low outdoor air temperatures. A comprehensive installation manual is supplied with every cylinder.

These cylinders can be incorporated with all sizes of YUTAKI heat pump, and in conjunction with either electric or gas/oil boiler backup.

The cylinders are covered by a standard 25 year manufacturer’s warranty.
