A recent interesting project for Dröm UK is its involvement in what is possibly the most prestigious development in the UK, One Hyde Park. This super-prime development, located in the heart of Knightsbridge sets new records in terms of apartment size and value, with one being 27,000 sq ft in size. Furthermore, it has been reported in the media that one of the penthouses has been sold for £100 million.

Interior-designed by the development company of Candy and Candy, the apartments reach new heights in luxury living in the Capital, with private wine tasting facilities, communal spas, squash courts and a private link to the Mandarin Hotel, while the penthouses apparently boast bullet-proof glass and panic rooms.

The brief for Dröm UK is to provide sauna and steam rooms for several of the penthouses, with each one requiring the highest quality fittings, while also being different from each other, proving an exciting challenge to the team.

According to Candy & Candy’s development manager, each sub contractor was chosen on ability and not on price – “this is the best project in the world, so we wanted the best team in the world” stated Nick Williams.

“We are thrilled to be considered in these terms and for such a prestigious project. We know our designs, products, installation and service are second to none, and to be awarded this contract really endorses our pride in our work”, said Kicki Carlsson-Boyd, MD, Dröm UK, who started the company some seven years ago with her husband, Barry Smith.
