Door manufacturer and supplier Kaba Door Systems has provided new automatic doors for Pennells Garden Centres, to improve customer flow. Working directly for Pennells, Kaba installed an SLM bi-parting, automatic, straight-sliding door to the main entrance. An existing door was moved to another location on the site to accommodate the new system.

Kaba was awarded the new door contract having completed a series of automatic door installations during Pennells recent refurbishment. By replacing the existing doors, the new sliding doors help direct customer traffic more efficiently.

Richard Pennell said: “Pennells Garden Centres underwent major alterations three years ago and new doors were supplied and installed by Kaba at that time. We have been very happy with the door systems and when improvements in customer flow were needed we contacted Kaba again.”

All of the new doors installed during the alterations and improvements fulfil access obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).
