Booth were awarded the design, manufacture and installation of blast-resistant hinged doorsets on an Australian refinery site. The project included both manually operated high-integrity single leaf and double leaf doors providing blast protection to both personnel and assets. Designed to withstand a positive dynamic blast load of 160kPa and behave elastically with a low-blast response, the doorsets provide protection against repeated blast loads, maintaining the integrity for up to four hours fire protection and remaining operational for emergency exit or entry by rescue crews.
