Polyflor takes green message to Ecobuild

With 24 product ranges that have been certified A+ by BRE Global - the most recognised environmental accreditation in the UK - Polyflor has more individually assessed A+ product ranges than any other resilient flooring brand.

Polyflor’s A+ portfolio was increased recently by the addition of four commercial Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) ranges. This is significant for the vinyl flooring market because they are the first LVT ranges to have been individually assessed by BRE Global.

On the manufacturing side, Polyflor has successful environmental management processes in place and last year reduced its own carbon emissions by 775 tonnes and managed to recycle over 385 tonnes of general waste and 11,728 tonnes of vinyl waste.

As one of two founder and funding members of the Recofloor Vinyl Take-Back Scheme, the vinyl recycling scheme, Polyflor is committed not only to reducing the environmental impact of its own business, but that of the vinyl flooring industry as a whole.
