Poundfield Alfablocs in Lithuania

Bega is an international company based in the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda. Its major commercial interests are in the transportation and storage of bulk materials such as fertilizers, liquid chemicals, and plastics.

The Alfablocs are being used as part of the infrastructure of a new purpose built fertilizer storage unit. Bega had used Alfablocs in an existing facility and had been so impressed with their performance that they based their new building on the 3.65m Alfabloc using it as an integral structural element in the design.

The manufacturing of the Alfablocs was completed within a five week period and were then delivered to the Port of Ipswich for transportation to Klaipeda.
