A Victorian hospital building at Friern Barnet has been sympathetically converted into luxury apartments by developer Comer Homes. A wide range of cast stone architectural details was used to re-create the Italianate splendour of the original elevations. The cast stone details include columns and their entablatures, plinths, quoins, cornices, dentil string courses, window surrounds and balustrading.
