Reception class outside play area which had to follow a 90° change of direction to follow the building and utilise the existing concrete hard standing. We provided our Oxford lean to style canopy with a tensile PVC fabric clad roof.

We designed in the column locations to avoid gates and cantilevered the structure over the door way into the classroom and allow for maximum free flow. The roof over sailed the building all the way around to keep the weather out and we fabricated our aluminium gutter at the outside to flow continuously to discharge rain water and maintain the canopies clean lines.
