Product Description:
Eurocell is launching Modus® - a fully integrated PVC-U door and window system, available with three sash design options. The standard rebate, slim rebate and fully flush sash styles offer a range of design aesthetics to architects and main contractors. The company claims that the aesthetics of Modus® gives specifiers a genuine alternative to aluminium and timber products – whilst offering better value for money for clients.
The technical design of Modus® includes a triple-seal option to achieve thermal and air tightness performance. Eurocell claim that the 75mm six-chamber profile system delivers optimum energy efficiency performance and is capable of achieving a U-value as low as 0.7 from a standard triple glazed unit.
Modus® features 50%* post-consumer recycled PVC-U as standard. Modus®utilises cutting edge dual material extrusion technology (DMET) which layers post-consumer recycled and ‘virgin’ material simultaneously. Modus® is also offered as a 100% post-consumer recycled PVC-U version, manufactured and recycled at the company’s plants in Derbyshire.
The system is available in nine solid and woodgrain effect colours. All standard colours are available with white internal finishes to create a light and airy living environment. A further range of 40+ solid and woodgrain effect finishes is available, including colour both sides.
Modus® will be available from Eurocell fabricators across the UK as casement, reversible and tilt & turn windows, plus French and residential doors, from January 2014.
