PowerBeads represent the next generation of beads for rendering and plastering, incorporating massive rigidity through extrusion techniques never before applied to plasterers beads. They can be fixed directly onto the substrate, even when the blockwork is uneven, without the need for adhesive mortar. The innovative box section ensures that the beads plumb straight whilst the flexible back wing takes up the contours of the wall. This is not the only clear advantage over stainless steel and galvanized beads though, as PowerBead is up to 35% faster to apply than traditional beads, as found during tests at Burnley College.
