Silva Timber's Western Red Cedar cladding and decking helped PSI Nursery to secure a silver medal position at the Chelsea Flower Show 2009.

Following their decision to enter the Urban Garden category of the Chelsea Flower Show, they approached Silva Timber for some advice on the most suitable products for their unique garden design.

Resident garden designer at PSI, Jamie Dunstan's aim was to create a vibrant outdoor space which could either reflect the interior of a contemporary house or provide a contrast to an interior's design and colours. Jamie set out to inspire people to create their own outdoor oasis, irrelevant of how much space they have.

The materials used would need to work with the vibrant colours used in the garden and following a discussion with the Silva Timber team, PSI decided that their Western Red Cedar would be the ideal choice for the garden's cladding and decking.

The rich texture, natural beauty and overall quality of the Western Red Cedar decking and cladding provide a perfect complement to the colours used in the garden, helping to secure a silver medal winning position for PSI Nursery in the Urban Garden category.
