Type of works: installation of 8 Guardian Thermal Break sectional overhead doors.

New Build Fire Station, designed with influences from Starwars, the Rayleigh Weir fire station is a wonderful example of modern functional architecture.

The Essex Fire Authority needed a door supplier who could offer not only high specification doors that provide fast opening times, thermal insulation, ease and synchronized operation for the purpose of exit and fume extraction, but a partner who can maintain and support their systems into the future.

Guardian Industrial Doors provided the solution with the installation of 8 Guardian Thermal Break sectional overhead doors.

All doors are installed with Guardian-i3 Level 3 controls. Featuring 1 Touch opening from each door as well as main control room. Opto safety edge system, send and receive photo beams along with traffic lights for visual indication of doors position.
