Company description: In 1965 Jan Reynaers founded an aluminium construction company in Duffel in Belgium, developing aluminium windows and doors according to his own design.
Reynaers Aluminium NV was established in 1969 and the company has continued to focus on its core activities: research and development, co-ordination of the production, insulation and surface treatment of aluminium profiles and accessories, marketing, distribution and technical and commercial support of fabricators and architects.
Reynaers Aluminium is now one of the top five European companies within the industry. The corporation employs 1,100 employees and has a turnover of more than €304 million.
The company operates all over Europe and has subsidiaries in 20 countries including the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Switzerland. Products are also shipped to the Middle East, Asia, Africa and South America.
Several markets within the construction industry are targeted by Reynaers. Systems are suitable for use in large projects such as hotels, office buildings, hospitals, and banks. The private housing market is also a large part of Reynaers' business, with the company supplying systems for new-build houses and apartments, renovation and conservatories.
