Reynaers To Reveal Its New PassivHaus Window System At Ecobuild 2011

An all-new, high insulation window system from Reynaers, the CS104, will make its debut at EcoBuild in March and with a Uw value of 0.78 W/m²K, for complete window frame, it meets and will be certified to the PassivHaus standards.

Other new Reynaers products to feature will include the new sliding system CP130 and the innovative curtain walling system CW60 Solar that incorporates photovoltaic panels. All emphasise quality, comfort, security, sustainability and recyclability, key features of the entire Reynaers product range.

The CS104 is a triple-glazed window system designed to meet the exacting ‘PassivHaus’ standard and as such significantly reduces the potential heat loss through the window. Even on the coldest day, occupants will feel no discomfort when seated by such a window. Its triple glazing also means it has an exceptional acoustic performance.

A new stylish sliding system CP130 combines high security with effortless glide operation and the added benefit of a slim-line option. The system offers sliding and lift-and-slide elements, providing an extremely wide variety of combinations including monorail, 2-rail and 3-rail options. A complete sliding-door solution with a comprehensive choice in design and functionality it is completely compatible with the Reynaers’ Concept System doors and windows.

Bringing design innovation and energy efficiency together in a curtain-walling system, CW60 Solar is an aesthetically pleasing, high-technology, photovoltaic green-energy solution designed for both wall and roof applications.

The curtain-walling system offers a range of options for the most suitable PV cells to best maximise energy generation and is designed to completely avoid shadow on the cells. It forms part of the company’s new range of integrated solar products.

Information on the wide range of Reynaers products will also be on the stand, including Airmax parallel-opening windows, Ventalis integrated controllable trickle ventilator thermally enhanced for windows and doors, curtain-walling systems and sun-screening ranges, all of which are highly versatile and can be suited to a variety of applications.

Reynaers is now a member of the ‘Secured by Design’ scheme, which means a range of the company’s products have been awarded the ‘Police Preferred Specification’ status.
