Glendyne natural slate will withstand the most severe weather conditions, and are unaffected by sunlight, UV light and even acid rain. The ranges are ideal for application on supermarkets, schools, office buildings and prestige-homes projects.
All Cembrit natural slates are annually tested to ensure they meet the requirements of BS EN 12326-1:2004. Test certificates and documents are available on request.
Glendyne natural slates can be holed on site, by hand or machine, to produce the required size. Glendyne slates exhibited the top Class A1 standard for water absorption, Class T1 for thermal cycle resistance, and Class S1 for sulphur dioxide exposure resistance. The slates also have good flexural strength.
Glendyne has thicknesses of 4 6mm. A range of dimension sizes are available also.
Glendyne slate is available in Blue/Grey.
Glendyne natural slates should be laid in accordance with BS 5534:2003 and BS 8000-6:1990, and ventilated in accordance with BS 5250:2002.
