Roof tiles: New Generation Clay Range

Sandtoft has developed a new generation of affordable, interlocking clay tiles. Each product has been designed with fast and efficient fixing in mind, due to a new open gauge design.

All restrictions previously associated with interlocking clay tiles have been eliminated to allow significantly more freedom in setting the gauge. As a result, the installation costs of these new generation clay tiles are similar to concrete.

The range includes two new, large-format designs, Olympus and Cassius, that give a coverage of approximately 10 tiles/m², which dramatically reduces the cost of a natural clay roof. Designed under the same principles, the Neo Pantile is a medium-format, interlocking clay pantile that benefits from ease and speed of installation. Also in the range is the newly redesigned 20/20 interlocking plain tile.

With an open gauge, the new 20/20 further reduces installation costs and completion times, making it even more competitive against traditional plain tiles.
