Rosemary Craftsman Tiles from Redland
While Rosemary Craftsman creates a laid roof with the distinctive random look typical of vintage handmade clay, its controlled manufacturing process affords the exacting performance standards required to meet BS 5534. Red and black sands are blasted onto the tiles in a variable mix of patterns during the manufacturing process to create a rustic finish for the two colours named Penhurst and Ashcombe. Ashcombe seen in the photo is the darker colour with a pre-aged look. The tiles have subtle texturing to the top surface, front and sides. The leading edge is distorted randomly and the hanging length varies from tile to tile. These features combine with matching fittings and accessories to give a true handmade clay appearance when laid on the roof, backed to perform by Redlands 15-year Roof System Guarantee at a minimum pitch of 35° - with superior freeze-thaw than many handcrafted or handmade tiles.
