Rosemont Girls School, Sandyford Dublin

Rosemont Girls School, Sandyford Dublin

The new Rosemont Private Girls School in Sandyford Dublin is an inviting and modern education facility, which exemplifies excellent design.

On privately funded education projects, there is flexibility to deviate away from standard Department of Education & Skills classroom layouts and more freedom to utilize higher specification products such as Granite, Corian and Glass.

The Design and Construction team engaged with the School to clearly define requirements for functionality and aesthetics within the budget.

Creative and inspiring classroom layouts and configurations were designed by Dublin based Architects NDBA. Key design features such as windows and screens were integrated within the furniture to produce an edgy and contemporary feel. Bright contrasting colours create strong visual appeal, whilst flushline ironmongery give clean lines of symmetry to the furniture.

The chosen classroom layouts allow for a lecture theatre type arrangement along with practical demonstration areas. The use of sliding screens between classrooms gives the space flexibility to cater for combined group classes if required.
