Royal Mail Delivery Office, Pudsey

14 Mar 2010

Client: Royal Mail
Type of works: design and manufacture of automatic barriers and rising bollards.

The Royal Mail delivery office at Pudsey has two entrances with both vehicles and pedestrians sharing these points of exit and egress. From a health and safety point of view this is certainly not recommended. Therefore a project was put in place to segregate pedestrians and vehicles eliminating the risk of an accident.

Leomarc Systems Ltd has the capability and experience to consult, design, manufacture, project manage the installation including the civil works, electrical and date wiring to provide a 1st class turnkey solution.

Two LSL-AB300 automatic raise arm barriers and a LSL-MRK700 mini rising bollard have been installed with additional audio intercoms and electronic keypads. Additional welfare measures have also been put in place to make the site more pedestrian friendly. These include DDA specification handrails, call points, line mark-ing and rain canopies.

Leomarc is registered with Constructionline, CHAS accredited, CSCS Gold awarded company, CITB SMSTS Site safety manager with First Aid, a Licensed waste carrier and a member of the BPA.
