Sanctuary Housing Association’s 70 busy staff had no dedicated area on site to take a lunch break, until the national charity’s London regional director formerly opened a new rest room for staff to take a break and prepare their own light meals if they wish to.

Complete with decking, potted plants and two double patio doors, the new 8.4 x 3.6m Executive Cabin was craned, in one lift, 150 feet onto the roof of Sanctuary’s three-storey office block in Lymington Avenue, Wood Green. It was then provided with a fitted kitchen, attractive pavement café furniture and an enclosed link to the building’s staircase.

'We could only go upwards to provide the rest room', said Sharon Standell, who continued: 'and Wernick have done a fantastic job in getting us this new facility in place on time.'
