SBID CPDs this October

SBID has announced the launch of two new CPD seminars that will be taking place this October. The seminars will be hosted by industry experts on the topics of “Wool for Interiors: Carpets as intelligent interior design elements” and “Homes and living spaces for people with sight loss: A guide for interior designers”.



SBID accredited CPD and Launch Event
SBID is pleased to announce the next CPD on ‘Homes and living spaces for people with sight loss: A guide for interior designers’ in association with the Thomas Pocklington Trust and HomeSmiths Interior Design. SBID President Vanessa Brady will be introducing the launch of this expert guide for interior designers to help them design for people with sight loss. A talk from the Thomas Pocklington Trust will be followed by a CPD on interior design for people with sight loss, presented by Jacqui Smith of HomeSmiths Interior Design.

The CPD will take place on Wednesday 29 October from 6-8pm at Material Lab London (10 Great Titchfield Street, London W1W 8BB).

SBID accredited CPD hosted by Wools of New Zealand
SBID accredited CPD will be hosted by industry experts Wools of New Zealand: ‘Wool for Interiors – Carpets as intelligent interior design elements’. During this CPD, SBID member, Wools of New Zealand will address the benefits of using wool carpets to create eco-friendly and healthy human habitats, and explain the various machine-made carpet styles. Wools of New Zealand team has specially prepared a complimentary book on wool design, colour, style and usage techniques for all the event attendees.

The CPD will take place on Wednesday 8 October from 6-8 pm at Prince Charles' favourite Londond building - The Penthouse, New Zealand House (80 Haymarket, SW1Y 4TQ). The Penthouse captures the most beautiful panoramic views of London.
