Schüco Signs Brand Ambassador

The Schüco brand ambassador team, which tees off for sustainable climate protection around the globe, has announced today, that Colin Montgomerie is the latest star to join their team.

The high-profile Scotsman, who will be captain of Europe’s Ryder Cup team next year, is one of the most successful European players of all time. He has won a record eight European Tour Order of Merits, played in five victorious European Ryder Cup teams and won 40 tournaments around the world.

Monty will be a key member of the Schüco brand ambassador team which will also now include Spain’s top pro golfer Miguel Ángel Jiménez, who won the 2008 BMW PGA championship among others in 2008. Other Schüco brand ambassadors are golf legends Bernhard Langer, Germany’s number one golfer Martin Kaymer, and French pro Grégory Havret. They will all represent Schüco’s corporate mission: Energy² – Saving Energy and Generating Energy worldwide on the global golf tour.

German golf fans can see these world-class golf players in action on September 21, 2009 in Bielefeld, as Montgomerie will join the other Schüco ambassadors, playing at the premiere of the Schüco Open.
