Boothville Roofing Ltd, a Sika-Trocal licensed roofing contractor, recently helped complete a new £3.4m luxury office development for Fairline Boats in Oundle.
The new 24,000 sq ft office development reflects Fairlines position in the market and was designed as a modern and very high specification environment for the premium brand. Fairline Boats was founded in 1967 and has built a world-wide reputation for luxury in the motor boat market. Just as Fairline started to enhance its reputation in the early 1970s so did Trocal in the flat roofing market in the UK, before becoming part of the Sika Group in 2001.
PGR Architects and PGR Construction were responsible for the overall design and build of the project and Boothville Roofing were tasked with finishing off the development with Sika-Trocals long lasting and proven flat roofing system. The flat roof was a light grey, mechanically fixed Sika-Trocal Type S membrane, that proved to be very quick and easy to install, enabling the whole project to be completed on time.
Tim Clark, National Sales Manager of Sika-Trocal comments: Our licensed roofing con-tractors undertake a vast array of projects and the Fairline job by Boothville is a perfect example of building contractor and roofing contractor working in partnership. The Sika-Trocal concept is designed to speed up and simplify the installation process for the benefit of all parties associated in a building project.
