Bailey Secret Fix Cassette Eaves System has been used as part of upgrade works at Rotherham Train Station. Works saw the station significantly upgraded to rival other improved stations in Barnsley, Doncaster and Sheffield. The station provides a key gateway to Rotherham for local rail users and provides a vital link via Doncaster and Sheffield to mainline services for Scotland, London, Birmingham, Manchester and other regions across the country.

The creativity and impact of profiles used on the new platforms and entrance feature have been made possible by the introduction of Bailey Laser-Line carcassing system. This is an accurately fabricated one-piece component that can be aligned using laser beams or traditional methods. Using laser beams allows complete elevations to be aligned easily and with far greater accuracy than more traditional measurements. Laser-Line’s strength and light weight means that the carcassing brackets fix directly to the structure with as few as two points.
