Servair Opt for Top Flight Floor From Flowcrete
Gourmet airline catering company, Servair, selected Flowcretes pioneering hygienic flooring system, Flowfresh, for its new food preparation facility at Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris.
Servair, a subsidiary of the Air France/KLM Group, have more than 100 catering units around the world and prepare more than 45 million in-flight meal trays each year.
Flowcrete Flowfresh SR was installed in the washing and food preparation areas, as well as the cold warehouse and finished meal storage unit of the in-flight catering centre, located in Roissy, Paris.
Specially developed for the food and drink industry, Flowfresh SR is a heavy duty system that contains a special additive Polygiene® based on the natural purification element silver.
Locked into the floor finish, this additive, Polygiene® is capable of controlling salmonella, E-coli and many other types of bacteria and yeast on contact - a major step forward in fighting the spread of potentially harmful bugs.
