Sika's Decothane Omega 15 system in Steel Grey was specified for the project, and applied by Boothville Roofing. The complete system is made up of a Decothane base coat fully reinforced with Reemat Premium Glass Fibre Matting, and completed with a Decoathane Top Coat.

The existing waterproofing system on the roof of the theatre was leaking and required restoration. However a traditional sheet applied material would have been difficult to apply because of the large amount of detail areas, including plant equipment, present on the roof.The Decothane system was easily applied over the existing material, eliminating the need to strip out the failed system. It is also completely cold applied with no need for heat or naked flame on the roof, and cures to provide a seamless waterproof membrane. Once installed the Decothane system is guaranteed to last for at least 15 years, and because of its liquid application all detail areas could be easily encapsulated.
