Newly opened Crocketts Community Primary School in Smethwick, West Midlands, welcomed pupils at the start of the school year with an array of stunning Altro Whiterock Digiclad™ corridor artwork panels. he new school was formed as part of a local schools reorganisation programme which saw Crocketts Lane Infant School combine with a local junior school to form a new centre for primary education.

Before moving to their new school, pupils were asked to suggest ideas for the artwork to decorate the corridors. Deciding upon a jungle theme, three large panels of Altro Whiterock Digiclad were installed with vibrant graphics inspired by giraffe, zebra and tiger print.

Altro Whiterock Digiclad is a unique service that allows bespoke images to be printed directly onto hygienic and durable PVC wall cladding. Cured inks are used to make the graphics incredibly hardwearing in even busy areas. The semi-rigid nature of Digiclad meant that fitters were able to bend it around the distinctive curved breakout classroom pods.
