Solar PV Range
Redland is a brand of the Monier Group, the leading worldwide supplier of pitched roofing materials.
Based on proven crystalline technology, the fourth generation of Monier InDax photovoltaic integrated modules fulfils two functions: clean, solar electricity generation and a secure roof covering.
Its low overall system height with modules mounted in attractive black coated aluminium framing in two sizes to suit different height roof tiles, providing high aesthetics for any property. Modules can be installed from left to right or right to left and they can be installed in either rows or columns. This flexibility, along with a minimum number of parts and the low system weight, means the installation can be carried out simply and quickly. Modules are installed from top to bottom ensuring maximum safety during installation. Separate drainage channels overcome any unevenness in the roof structure.
Solar PV Tiles
Redlands second generation PV tiles have been designed to integrate with Redlands eight popular housebuilder tiles: Cambrian Slate, Mini Stonewold, DuoPlain, 50 Double Roman, Grovebury, Plain Tiles, Natural Slate and Slate 10; making Redland the first company to offer developers a fully-integrated PV solution for slate, plain tiles and profile tiles.
Redland has been at the forefront of PV roofing technology since 1997, and this new range of PV tiles is designed for ease of installation as well as performance. Fitted using the same laying patterns as the tiles they replace, with no additional flashings required, makes them suitable for retrofitting as well as new build projects.
Redlands new roof-integrated PV systems offer both aesthetic and roof performance benefits over "above-the-roof" panel systems and, following extensive testing, are guaranteed for 15 years, which covers the durability and weathertightness of the whole roof.
