South Wales barn conversion

Type of works: Manufacture and supply of 300sq metres of TX Gold.

HG Edwards Construction needed a weather tight solution for a ten-bedroom barn conversion in South Wales which would enable its building team to continue with a barn conversion project throughout the winter.

More than 300 sqm of TLX Gold, a combined multi-foil insulation and breather membrane was specified and met with Building Control approval, delivering the required solution in four days.

• TLX Gold was installed over the rafters with Rockwool flexi slab between.
• Combination of materials enabled same roofing line to be maintained.
• No issue with head height and product was easy and quick to install.
