Special Services Group

Type of works: manufacture of the Ashford and Cambridge hinged security doors.

Booth was awarded the sole manufacture of both the Ashford and Cambridge hinged security doors in 1993 (project ongoing) from the Special Services Group, which operates as a business within the Defence Estates providing security solutions.

The Ashford and Cambridge doors are used where protection against extreme physical attack is required for the protection of property, assets and people.

Since then the product range has been extended to include the Standfast, Rivington and Bromley security doors, with the latter two doors providing 4-hour fire resistance and upgrades for blast and ballistic attack.
