In its first week of trading, more than one million shoppers visited the new extension to St David’s shopping centre in Cardiff. With more than 100,000 square metres of brand new retail space, the centre is home to many iconic, upmarket brands including Apple, Hugo Boss, LK Bennett and Kurt Geiger. Designed by Benoy, the development has rejuvenated the existing St David’s arcade and has created a new landmark retail centre in the heart of the city.

Venesta was approached by Benoy architect, Maria Cannovina, who was looking for a contemporary, streamlined washroom solution to complement the centre’s modern aesthetic. We recommended Equinox, not only for its looks but also its remarkable durability; an essential consideration in an environment with such heavy traffic. The client opted for

Equinox in Iceberg laminate with polished, elliptically shaped pilasters and IPS to feature throughout the whole shopping centre and within the management suite. This was a huge project for Venesta but, we’re delighted to say, everything ran perfectly, from start to finish.
