Conservation timber box-sash windows and French doorsets have been supplied by Mumford & Wood for an exclusive luxury property on the private estate of St George’s Hill Estate, Weybridge, Surrey.

This new-build project was designed to include a combination of Georgian-style sash windows and margin-pattern doors, which together with natural brick, stone and traditional features such as quoins, balustrades, parapets and cornices, achieve a home of classical distinction. Gracious and elegant proportions appear throughout the two-storey home, which has a stunning hexagonal, galleried entrance hall, six bedroom suites, five grand reception rooms and an impressive indoor swimming pool hall. 
 
The developer specified Mumford & Wood sashes with a 22mm wide lambs-tongue glazing bar to achieve traditional sightlines, and the multiple French doorsets were specially designed to fold back 180 degrees and nestle into the side lights to avoid disrupting both natural sightlines or daylight.
