Stainless steel drainage channels for Aldgate Tower

Stainless steel drainage channels for Aldgate Tower

Adgate Tower is a state-of-the-art 317,000 square foot headquarters building at the heart of the commercial quarter of Aldgate.

Component Developments was specified for stainless steel drainage channels and had to work closely with the contractors onsite to help them achieve the architects vision. Drainage channels were created to seamlessly curve around the 8th and 15th floors of the Tower.

Further stainless steel channels where fitted on the 17th floor.

Prater Contracts Manager, Russell Green had this to say:

"Prater were contracted to provide an above insulation drainage system which was adjacent to a curved facade. The product was required to be bespoke and integrate both physically and aesthetically with the facade and horizontal metal decking. James Russell from Component Development's was contacted early in the design discussion phase and was helpful from the start, attending design meetings both privately with Prater and when direct liaison was required with the client. The Component Development's knowledgeable team provided comprehensive design solutions, a full site survey and a site specific drainage product of high quality finish. They were true to stated lead times and turned around site measured elements to meet programme hand-over restrictions. A quality service and end product Prater will be utilising their services again"
