Bailey Artfrom were asked to supply a mixture of standard and bespoke Artform Urban Furniture Metalco Big Harris benches for a new campus development at Bath Spa University.

The stylish Harris range of tropical hardwood seating provides large seating monoliths with complimentary street furniture also available to provide a coordinated approach to landscaping.

Through discussions with the Illman Young Landscape Design, Artform Urban Furniture produced an adapted Metalco design to accommodate DDA compliance by incorporating a back rest and arm rests to 30% of the seating. The seating was intended to sit over recessed lighting points to make these a feature element of the terrace and non standard colours were incorporated to provide consistency to surrounding buildings.
