Steadmans supplies materials for new conversion at Purity Brewing Co

Leading one-stop-shop building products manufacturer Steadmans has supplied materials for a new project at Purity Brewing Co. in Great Alne, Warwickshire.

The brewery now benefits from a conversion of a 760 sq m existing disused agricultural building into a micro-brewery, thanks to Redditch-based installer S A Mogg. The building comprises over 330 linear metres of Steadmans’ AS35 120mm insulated panels in Vandyke brown and 130 linear metres of AS30 single sheet side-wall cladding. The company also supplied over 80 linear metres of eaves and ridge fillers.

Dean James, project manager at S A Mogg, commented: “I have been using Steadmans for most of our jobs for the last 15 years and they get the majority of my orders. The quality of the products they supply us is second-to-none and at a fraction of the cost of their competitors. We use Steadmans’ composite panels on a lot of our jobs as they are easy to fit and save a lot of labour time on-site.

“An added benefit of using Steadmans is that any technical information we require is only a phone call away, should we need it. Being able to order a range of products from one supplier saves us both time and money and means that all the materials for the project arrive in one delivery.”

Comprising two outer steel skins with an integral PIR insulation core, Steadmans’ AS35 insulated panels are available in a wide range of colours and complement their broad variety of pre-engineered construction products, such as gutters, rooflights and doors.

AS35 panels are manufactured in a quality process certified to ISO 9001:2008, using non-ozone depleting technology. This provides designers with an environmentally-responsible product, with excellent thermal performance and a predicted service life of 40 years. Available in a range of thicknesses, the panels can be specified to achieve insulation U-values, aiding compliance with the latest L2 regulations. The panels are also Loss Prevention Certification Board approved.

Steadmans’ single skin roof and wall systems consist of coated steel sheets rolled to five different profiles, they may be used to form roofs - down to four degree pitch (six degree if rooflights are required) - and walls. The systems include a comprehensive range of fixings, sealants, guttering, flashings and rooflights. AS single skin roof and wall profiles are manufactured in process certified to ISO 9001:2008.

Purity Brewing Co. was founded in 2005 by Paul Halsey and James Minkin. Last year, it welcomed five new people to the company, whilst securing new business from the likes of ASDA and Wholefoods.
