Stockland Green Technology College has recently undergone a complete overhaul. The college has been demolished and rebuilt over various phases in order to make way for a progressive and superior learning environment. The College, part of the BSF government initiative programme was in desperate need of renewal, main contractors Lend Lease won the contract to regenerate this historic school.

Project overview

GDL Air Systems were given the opportunity to develop and manufacture an innovative natural ventilation system for the College alongside Lend Lease and Birmingham Council. We also supplied the internal ventilation grilles and installed high level louvre screening and surrounding steelwork for the college.

Benefits of using GDL Products to the project

GDL worked alongside Lend Lease and Birmingham Council at the early stages of this project to help develop a natural ventilation system for the college that would allow the correct ventilation requirements and maintain low energy consumption.

GDL products used on this project

Natural Ventilation Intelivent wall mounted units, louvre screening and the surrounding structural steelwork for the Louvre Screening. We also supplied the internal supply and extract ventilation grilles.
