Stuart Crisp joins CPSA

Stuart Crisp has been appointed Business Development Manager for the Concrete Pipeline Systems Association (CPSA).

Commenting on the appointment, CPSA Chairman Andy Goring said: “I am delighted to have Stuart on board. He joins at a time when virtually every construction product producer is experiencing tough times and his appointment reflects the CPSA’s commitment to promoting the many technical, commercial and environmental benefits of precast concrete pipeline systems.”

Stuart’s background is both technical and commercial. He has a degree in civil engineering and is a chartered marketer. He also has specialist experience of the drainage and concrete industries and was most recently the Marketing Manager at Castle Cement.

Looking at the task ahead of him, Stuart said: “I am delighted to be joining CPSA at a time when there are so many opportunities to develop the market for concrete pipeline systems. We have a huge amount of great research and technical information to support our case. All we need to do is make sure that our messages are understood and appreciated by the people making the decisions.”

The CPSA’s members account for well over 90% of production of concrete pipeline products in the UK. Its main aims are to research and promote the benefits of precast concrete pipeline systems and maximise their contribution to the UK’s drainage and sewerage networks. The association also provides a comprehensive range of information on concrete drainage products, such as product ranges, system design and key issues.
