Style makes best use of visitor space

Walsall Arboretum has benefited from new a Visitor Centre with internal space maximised with Style partitioning walls. Making Walsall Arboretum fit for the 21st century, a new flagship Visitor Centre has recently been opened after a sensitive restoration of the original 1870’s building.

Bringing a welcome level of flexibility to the internal facilities, Style was specified to install two continuously hinged moveable sliding/folding wall systems to the spacious café, allowing smaller rooms to be quickly created for use by schools and other local groups.

Finished in light grey laminate to complement the interior décor the SWG Stylefold partitions offer privacy when required whilst still allowing the area to be opened out for larger gatherings as required.

Working with architects Brownhill Hayward Brown and main contractor Wilmott Dixon, Style was tasked with delivering moveable wall solutions that would allow the café to be divided into separate areas to accommodate the needs of the local community.

The high quality SWG (Scandinavian Wall Group) folding walls, for which Style is sole UK supplier, are fitted with double PVC seals to ensure an excellent level of acoustic integrity is achieved and maintained between adjacent rooms. Staff can quickly and easily slide the panels into place along a ceiling track, creating a firm wall with pass door within minutes.
