In damp or immersed conditions such as reservoirs, water towers, tunnels and basements, proven high-performance specialist sealants are essential. BASF’s range includes elastomeric mortars for damp substrates which allow a movement accommodation of up to 15% and are resistant to aggressive groundwater, dilute acids and alkalis. Applications span the sealing of construction joints, cracks in concrete and joints between precast concrete panels or pipe sections, as well as flexible and waterproof pointing.
