Teachwall 100G movable glass walls for University

Teachwall 100G movable glass walls for University

Working in partnership with the HMRC, AEG installed the 100G glass movable walls at a major University.

The 100G achieves 45 decibels of sound resistance moved smoothly and easily and has the same rigidity and performance as the Teachwall 100 but has hidden mechanisms giving clear vision through each panel. The system was designed and installed to give students the opportunity to view pioneering electronic work in an adjacent class room of which formed part of their course work.

The installation was completed in one day of which was paramount to the University as not to disrupt School life. The 100G has no floor track and was suspended from a steel structure that was also provided by AEG Teachwall giving the University a turnkey package from start to finish.

The 100G can also be provided in a semi electric system and it is currently under development to achieve a fully automated system.
