The Teikyo School sports hall has been given a fresh new look thanks to 570m® of Maple wood-effect Polyflor Sport 67 indoor sports flooring.
Complete with line markings, Polyflor Sport 67 has provided the underfoot resilience and long life demanded by such a high-traffic area and is the perfect surface for pupils to take part in a wide range of sporting activities including football, badminton, tennis, netball and basketball.
The flooring was installed by MPM Flooring in Slough and combines the performance, appearance and cost-effectiveness the client was looking for.
The new Sport 67 made a huge difference to the overall look of the sports hall giving it a much lighter feel, explained Mark Maidment of MPM Flooring. The product is also easy to lay and conforms to all the necessary British and European standards for a multi-use indoor sports surface.
Widely specified for college, school and local authority sports halls, gymnasia and leisure centres, Polyflor Sport 67 is a 6.7mm gauge flooring available in Blue, Green and a Maple wood effect and features Polyflors unique polyurethane reinforcement for enhanced protection, appearance and easier on-going maintenance.
The product conforms to EN14904, the European standard for sports flooring, and meets all Sport England requirements.
