New build projects, such as the Aviator Hotel at Farnborough Airport, needed Alucovering’s versatility to respect the aesthetic qualities of a luxury hotel with the demands of its location. It has also been specified as a key feature of the external façade and, in particular, the penthouse suite at the Oaklands development for NK Homes in St Albans. Add a large palette of colours and a range of high-quality finishes and architects, designers and contractors are furnished with outstanding options to tailor facade solutions to the most demanding of designs.

Alucovering profiles are extruded from aluminium alloy of approximately 2 to 2.8mm thickness, 200 to 300mm in height and up to 6m in length and either anodised or powder coated to a minimum of 60 microns from a choice of over 250 RAL colours. This product also has inherent characteristics regarding purity, corrosion and longevity.

In addition to standard stock extrusions, profiles can be designed to suit individual architectural requirements.
