Britmet Tileform Ltd’s recent acquisition of the Tactray structural liner, has put Britmet Tileform Ltd in a class of its own, successfully delivering over 75,000m of structural tray since the takeover.

Due to demand, Britmet Tileform Ltd has launched a new informative brochure to the market, expanding the products uses and performance, such as: increasing the U-value demands and reducing total roof thickness through using high performance insulations; decreasing sound absorption by using a perforated Tactray, with various types of acoustic insulation to achieve the sound reduction the client requires; complying with BB93 acoustic treatments for schools.

Tactray is the only BBA approved structural liner tray on the market and has been tested and approved by the BBA to achieve 4.1m³ per hour air permeability. This is 60% better than minimum requirement. It is the only Tactray to have BBA approved load tables, a life expectancy of 60 years, a span up to 5m, patented gasket side-lap system, and an availability in a range of colours. As a hybrid system, it can achieve any U-value and sound absorption required, thus reducing construction time. It can be used with any roof covering, slates, tiles, standing seams, flat roofing systems, copper, zinc, greens roof and curve roofs, and is more competitive than any roof tile support system on the market.
