The easy way to introduce daylight into any internal room

The Em-Tube is a remarkably affordable and powerful natural light system, designed to inject masses of light into rooms without windows, or where larger rooflights aren’t an option. It’s a simple principle, engineered with precision for maximum performance. A low-profile, UV-protected polycarbonate rooflight or flat glass unit, depending on the roof type, captures natural light, directing it through a tube (rigid or flexible, depending on the roof space), and diffusing it into an internal room.

Em-Tube makes internal natural lighting straightforward. It can be quickly and easily installed and disperse up to 2200 lux – more than 20 times the 105 lux emitted by a 100w light bulb. Once installed, all that daylight comes for free. There’s an Em-Tube skylight for all types of roofs: flat roofs and tiled or slate pitched roofs. Passive rooflight ventilation and magnetic double-glazed ceiling light diffuser are standard.

The flat roof Em-Tube has a gently domed skylight to maximise light ingress. A 0.7m rigid tube system – offering 98% light reflection on its inner surface – is included, with a flexible tube system option of up to two metres, to offer greater choice of location in installation. A flat roof flashing kit and proprietary upstand will ensure a perfect, well-insulated fit. The pitched roof Em-Tube features a flush flat glass unit for minimal visual disturbance of the roofline. It comes with flexible reflective tubing to reach up to three metres from roof to internal ceiling. Tile flashing kits are available to suit slates and plain or profiled tiles.

Three sizes (350mm, 450mm and 550mm diameters) offer perfect illumination for all sizes of rooms, from WC to open retail space or living area. There is even an optional integral light kit for night-time lighting. For next-day delivery throughout the UK, contact sales@whitesales.co.uk or call 01483 271371.
