The Penny Appeal Academy - Wakefield

The Penny Appeal Academy - Wakefield

Thornes Park campus was bought by the UK registered charity Penny Appeal in 2018, and now that Covid measures are relaxed, big things are happening there. What was once a former part of Wakefield College is now becoming a bustling hub for the community allowing the continuation of their work supporting local communities in the city where it all began.

The work to the Campus has included interior fit-out and Rawson Carpet Solutions, as a local manufacturer of carpet sheet and tiles, have supplied a number of carpet solutions for the building.

The Entrance to the site has received an impressive inlay entrance matting created by Rawson matching the familiar branded colours of the appeal. The inlay matting is from Rawson’s entrance matting range called Cobble, which is a non-directional primary entrance matting solution and ideal for such inlay work. The wording inlayed in cobble sits on a background of the appeals branded orange colour tile in Rawson's Neon range. Moving through the building light open spaces are complemented with the impacting orange tile and other areas have received laser light tiles with the matching neon fleck.

Rawson provide a professional entrance matting service from a range of standard entrance mat solutions to intricate inlay work to provide an impressive entrance to your facility as has been achieved here.
