Thermography

Thermography inspections on domestic and commercial structures enable engineers to inspect and troubleshoot many building related issues.

Using the same technology as a thermal imaging camera, a thermography camera has the added benefit of accurate temperature measurement rather than just showing a cold through to hot image.

Building diagnostic engineers use thermography for air tightness and energy loss surveys in relationship to Part L of the Building Regulations.

SATIR cameras are commonly used within the building for inspection of electrical and mechanical systems, to prevent performance losses, failure or fire.

Applications include flat roofs, cladding and walls, windows and doors, heating and cooling systems, solar panels, leak detection, thermal bridging, insulation issues, moisture and mold, structural defects, water damage and HVAC.
